Time 4 Jaffa Cake Protein Brownies
Ingredients
To make this Jaffa Cake Protein Brownies recipe, you will need:
2/3 cups Almond flour
1 scoop Time 4 Whey Protein Professional Jaffa Cake Flavour
1 teaspoon Cocoa powder
1 ½ cups chocolate chips or chunks (why not try mixing white and milk chocolate together)
½ cup coconut oil
2/3 coconut sugar
2 eggs
3 Jaffa cakes finely chopped
½ teaspoon Orange Zest
Method
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line an 8”x8” square pan with foil and coat with cooking spray or grease with a light coating of butter
In a medium bowl, mix the almond flour, cocoa powder and Time 4 Jaffa Cake Whey Protein.
Place 1 cup of the chocolate chips/chunks and coconut oil in a different bowl and microwave for 30 second increments until melted, add in orange zest and stir until smooth.
Add the coconut sugar to the chocolate mixture and stir until combined.
Add the eggs and finely chopped Jaffa cake pieces to the mixture and stir until smooth.
Fold the almond flour mixture into the chocolate mixture until thoroughly incorporated.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of chocolate chips/chunks over the top
Bake for 25-30mins or until a toothpick comes out clean
Cool, then cut into squares and serve
