Time 4 Jaffa Cake Protein Banana Bread

Ingredients

To make this delicious Jaffa Cake Protein Banana Bread recipe, you will need:


3 large ripe bananas (mashed)
2 Tbsp ground flax seed
2/3 cup almond milk (or diary free milk alternative)
2 tbsp maple syrup
2 scoops Time 4 Whey Protein Professional Jaffa Cake Flavour
2/3 plain flour
1 tsp cacao powder
2 tsp Baking Powder
3 tbsp chocolate chips

Method

Preheat oven to 150C.
Mash bananas in a large bowl
Add ground flax, almond milk (or diary free alternative) and maple syrup to the bananas and stir well.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients (plain flour, whey protein powder, cacao powder and baking powder) and stir well. The batter will be thick but will come together.
Add a sheet of parchment paper to the loaf pan and spray it with non-stick spray (optional).
Pour the batter into the loaf pan and be sure to flatten it out, covering the base of the pan.
Sprinkle the top of the batter with chocolate chips and press down on them gentle so they stick to the batter.
Place in the oven at 150C and bake for 40-45mins.
Take out of the oven and allow to cool for 30mins in the pan then a following 30min out of the pan before slicing.

Fridge – store leftover chocolate bread in the fridge up to 5 days in a well-sealed container.
